My narrow universe
Expanded like the tail
Of a peacock opening
When you installed under my tongue
The petal of honey from your kiss of salt.
In me the genesis flourished,
The big bang gently broke out.
My inner light grew
With the power of a thousand suns.
Gigantic volume of tenderness
That slid down the sides
Of my hills
With the force of an avalanche.
Your kiss dragged away all the dross
Of sadness that had been installed
In my insomniac pupils.
As a testimony today I have
The fossils of my melancholy
Trapped in the translucent amber
Of your crystalline sight.
