From the galaxy to the atom
Through your tenderness
for my skies,
Like a faint ray,
Smooth, soft, meek.
The pulse of its waves
Bathe my quasars,
my white dwarfs,
gray nebulae,
And red giants,
submerge me in its seas
Of stars,
Planets,
Satellites
And shadowless sun.
When you hug me
Vertebrae, scapula and coccyx
Line up with the soft feeling
That comes from your lap.
in your embrace
I get over the pain,
I restore myself from fear,
I revert to joy
And I quickly strengthen
My flimsy watchtowers
Against the inert pain.
In your arms
I feel the Interstellar
Warmth that boosts
The cosmic dust
Of my atoms.
