We had not yet invented
The days of electricity.
But I revisited the meeting
Of your body and my body
On the divan of the sea.
It was like restoring a dream,
Weaving in vibrant colors,
Throwing decorative ribbons into the air,
Like braiding garlands,
Floating in a dance with the wind,
Like release scented petals.
Blue waves,
White clouds,
Fresh breeze,
And sunlight painting
The wings of the flocks.
And when my heart felt
The lightning of your smile,
When the thunderous discharge
Of your voice came
Through the shell
Of my ears,
I knew that my destiny
Was reaching
A turning point,
Like in genesis
Or in the explosion
Of the big bang.
