When you're gone,
Loneliness vamps my joy
And makes me
The emotionless zombie
I thought I’d never
Become again.
I want to open my arch
To see with my own eyes
If the waters have receded,
To free the meek dove
Of my hope and long for it
To return with its beak
Full of green branches.
I don't want any branches,
I want the very rod of Aaron
To flourish in the environment of my soul,
That my roots be satisfied
With crystalline waters.
And may the phoenix
That flies through my skies
Never have its wings tired
When the day appears
And may your company be
At the bottom
Of my pandora's box.
