Before I was a day butterfly
In a dark forest
That did nothing but wander.
Your laughter made me go through
Tunnels and doors,
Stairs and porticos,
Windows, passageways, and portals.
When you laugh, I am happy.
Its warmth is like the smoke
Of the offering that rises.
The incense of your body
Makes me want to levitate.
As the full moon drives away
The darkness,
You scared from my path,
The gloomy night owl
That was living,
In my cathedrals and squares,
Undefeated and proud,
Nested in my chest
With its flint cold legs.
Through paths traced in my being,
Your laughter moves freely
Like a performer of jazz.
In my ways it is the lighthouse
That illuminates my walk.
