From the coast
Of this insignificant island
-That occupies the place of my heart -
I observed as you left
Disappearing at dusk,
Leaving sunk in the dark
And pusillanimous sadness
My desire to be
With you and for you.
My arms were mills of wind
Trying to make you go back
So that you could wrap in your lips
My thirsty man’s body
And to convince you that at least
You returned to the dawn.
But I just saw,
As in a setting of sun,
The green ray
With which you indicated me
That this cycle of happiness
You already closed
And that never more
Wouldn’t have repetition
Of your mimes and caresses,
Abundance of your kisses in my body,
In my garden your ray of sun.
