It was the afternoon inflamed with torpor
And the last rays of the sun
Were falling with their twilight tone.
The house full of green
Made my chest throb
As if reddened by a ritual.
You were the light breeze
And I was the tender leaf
That slightly moved.
You were the first breath,
And I was the sigh of relief.
Let the moment in which
We are together be eternal,
Doing nothing,
Just willing to feel
The sunset breeze blurs
Its green ray
Over the palace of our afterglow.
So, in the calm that surrounds us,
Let's wait together for the meteor shower
On this night that is about to begin.
